Laboratory for Investments Applications
The Laboratory for Investment Applications (EPEFA) consists an educating, research and advisory branch of the Faculty of Economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Its objective is to provide high quality educational and advisory services accounting for the specific needs of each organization, by utilizing the rich experience of its collaborators.
The Laboratory is directed by Dr Nicholas Milonas, Professor of Finance, while participants to the educational and scientific activities of EPEFA are well known members of the Finance Section of the Department (S. Thomadakis, M. Xanthakis, P. Alexakis). In parallel, EPEFA cooperates with capital market executives, as well as with bank executives who are familiar with the regulatory framework and modern views on the management and operation of financial institutions, for meeting the most specialized issues in those subjects.
EPEFA has offered a broad spectrum of services in the financial sector to organizations and enterprises since 2008; it has undertaken the preparation of executives of a major bank for the examinations of professional adequacy of the Bank of Greece and the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, with very high success rates. Also, it offers an internal postgraduate program in Banking and Finance for the executives of a major bank, while it can form specific education programs according to the needs of each company/organization.
